As we enter the hottest months of the year here in the African bush the days are becoming longer and at certain times unbearably hot. In order to keep on nature’s schedule and to make sure our guides do not get sunstroke, we will be moving our Sunset Safari later. Our favourite animal characters are at their most active in the cooler times of the day so we need to be out there with them.
From November 17th, the sunset safari will start at 3.30 pm CAT and finish at 7 pm CAT. This extra half an hour at the end of the drive will be dark. This is an exciting time to catch the nocturnal animals as they spring into action. The Sunrise Safari will not change.
The new times are:
I am addicted to Wildearth – you guys are fantastic and at the age of 78 I really learn facts of nature that I did not know. Is there a spesific reason why you do not switch to the Masaai Mara? Thank you for the wonderful experience to be on Safari with you all!!👏👏👏
I love this channel, keep up the good work.
Have been loving this Safari programme since April, when I was introduced by a friend in Pretoria. I am on the East coast of Australia, so unfortunately don’t get to see the sunset trip, except on the occasional catch-up on YouTube.
Thank you to everybody…you are all fabulous!
What happened to the young hippo that was savaged by pack of hyenas a couple of days ago?
Hope that James Hendry will come back soon. We are going to miss him terribly.
Thank you for everything you do! I am totally addicted to watching. It is a blissful distraction from COVID and a chilly UK autumn.
