Farewell to Scott & Nicki
It is with great sadness that WE are saying goodbye to both Scott and Nicki, two absolute gems of the WE and safariLIVE team that have been with us for over a year. Their decision was an incredibly difficult one to make and has left both of them nostalgic and saddened, yet they are both looking forward to their exciting new adventures!
Scott is anxious to explore the many wilderness areas found throughout Africa, he wants to visit Botswana, Namibia, Tanzania, Kenya and many other untouched parts of the beautiful continent. Nicki is just as excited to explore along with him. Both feel like the WE team is an extension of their family making it tough for them to say goodbye. However, the brilliant pair also feel that their explorations will open new doors and allow for many different and just as exciting opportunities.
Scott and Nicki are still extremely passionate about what it is WE do here in the Sabi Sand and have promised to keep an eye on the development and growth of safariLIVE as it continues to reach new heights. As Scott says “The beauty of safariLIVE is that we can participate and enjoy from anywhere!”
Please join us on the 5th of March during the Sunset Safari for Scott’s last drive with Nicki joining him on camera, as well as a special farewell Fireside Chat.
You will be missed hugely by all of us, it is a loss to our team and all WE can do is continue to hold up the high standard of work you both delivered consistently for all your time spent here, in the bush. WE wish all the best with your new adventures and look forward to seeing you in the future!
Tearing up here! They will for sure be missed but they will be adventuring together and this is the time to do it! They will be still be a big part of our WE family via social media and WildEarth chat! "Isn't this incredible" and "sadly" have become a part our WE vocabulary! I wish them the very best!
I hope your futures are filled with wonderful adventures. Thank you for sharing this last year + with us who watch these wonderful drives. I wish you both well!
Stop by some time and say hello!
Many and heartfelt thanks for the hours you spent in front of the camera and all the wonderful sights and sounds you brought to me. For sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm, for amusing and entertaining, for early starts and not enough coffee mornings, for outwitting leopards and chasing lions…THANX! I wish you (both!) loads of luck and continued happiness in all your choose to do. (WE are fools to let you go. I've been wondering what was up with you lately.) Be Safe!

You will be so missed you two. Best wishes on your new adventures and I can't wait to see what you share. Thank you so much for all of your hard and awesome work on the LiveSafaries. I have learned so much and have a greater appreciation for South Africa and her wildlife because of you guys. So thanks again for giving me the gift of your knowledge, humor and for sharing your wonderful selves with me. Laura aka spirit444 in Oregon Usa. See you just now ;)
We will surely miss them both! Thanks for a wonderful write up.
Although I am a recent member of the addicted to safari crowd I will miss them. I will miss hearing all the guides refer to Nicky as they listen to her in their ears and I will miss the excitement in Scotts voice as he discovers something happening on drive. I wish them all the best in their new adventures!
