Get your pilot’s goggles ready safarians, we’re welcoming back the thermal drone!

This incredible piece of technology allows us and you to experience the wonders of the African wild, not only from a bird’s eye perspective, but also in a way that does not disturb the natural behaviour of the animals we have all grown to love.

Using the thermal drone to find and track our favourite animal characters has brought us even closer to their lives. But as with anything, a little practice is needed. This means there will be an adjustment to our usual Sunset Safari schedule. On Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 October the Sunset Safari will only be 2 hours in duration. But that doesn’t mean you’re going to miss out on any of the action, we will be doing drone tests in the hour after the Sunset Safari closes and if any action kicks off, you’ll be the first to know! So keep an eye out on your Facebook notifications as we could go LIVE at anytime with you favourite characters doing what they do best!
