Humboldt Bay PTZ
The Humboldt Bay eagle nest is located in a Douglas fir tree in Humboldt County in northern California and the nesting pair have been active since 2006. We thank the private landowners for their willingness and support in sharing this nest with the world.
The first camera was installed at the nest in 2012 with a grant to the Humboldt Wildlife Care Center provided by the Sequoia Park Zoo. Cameras were upgraded in late 2013 through the generous donations from viewers and a collaboration between the Institute for Wildlife Studies and Jim Campbell-Spickler of Eco-Ascension Research and Consulting. Watch both camera views and chat at www.iws.org/hbe.html and see read reports of nesting activities at the HBE Forum.
